This heat is doing a job on me, but it's good. I appear to be 79.7 kilos this morning and the chart says that's about 12 stone 8 lbs. I don't know where it's coming off though.

www.ilose.co.uk - I'll have to update this but for those who don't know, at the start of May last year I was 17 stone I just took Christmas off, before Christmas I got down to 12 stone 11lbs but went back up to 13 stone 10 by new years. Roll on 12 stone. Rolling being the word still.

    Cheers
    Lee

blimey. i'd say you've lost enough Lee.
I'm only a pound or two more & def. don't need to lose any.
Unless you're 4ft that is? LOL

I still have a belly but I might be joining a gym this week with someone else so see how that goes, time to get some advice on losing weight I think, as up until now I've done it all on my own - with the backing of forums like this of course. I'm 5 ft 8 I think, I can never remember. I just want rid of this belly and waist and some more off thighs.

The thing is, when I was obese it didn't matter as much - sounds strange - but now I'm slimmer in parts I can actually see the excess fat as the bone structure and usual lines of a figure make it stand out so now I see it more and I don't like it so wish to pick up the pace a bit. I look great with clothes on, it's just when I take them off ha although women see men different that's not the point.

It would be nice to lose the belly but I think that may take me down to 11 stone, maybe eleven and a half, not sure, the lowest I can recall weighing is about 10 and half stone when I was 19, I think, maybe but before that I was 12 stone and after about the same, then for every year after, I put on 14 lbs. So I only ever really looked good figure wise when I was 19 and before the puppy fat years, I was thin aged 12 and below.

I've lost a lot of years. Here's hoping I make the most of the rest. I still want that girl, want don't get though, getting off harris and making the effort does.

Is the girl you have in mind yet to appear, or do you know her already & you're admiring from afar, or near, as the case maybe?

I think maybe the one I'll end up with is yet to appear but the one I like I know but I'm yet to meet and I'm still confident she's the one but hey if it helps me then what's the harm in trying to make a dream a reality, I'm living my dream now so who knows what else can be achieved.

I knew the people in Romania five years before I moved here and actually met them. The internet, it makes the world smaller but don't make things any the easier. You've still got to try just as hard if not more but let's just say this girl made me realise what I've been missing and that's a good thing and still is.

Thanks, it's just a shame I didn't pop over to Barbados for winter or Australia, I'd have been sorted by now.

    Thanks.

Have alook at www.ilose.co.uk it's quite a simplified way of looking at a diet but it worked for me so far, although don't forget to treat yourself and also nibble any of the stuff listed throughout the day.

19 stone doesn't sound too great, you'll probably find the weight come off in a flash at first, just go walking three miles three times a week, then turn it into jogging, I found myself a local park five minutes away and jogged around that at five in the morning before it got too hot.

Respect for losing so much weight.....and keeping it off!

I can go to the gym, row 10k, cycle for 30 minutes and power lift for an hour...then eat everything I can gte my chubby hands on. Eating the wrong foods has always been a problem for me

I'm around 15 stone but want to lose a stone. If my training goes to plan I will put a stone or more of muscle on. I had a couple of accidents involving a mountain bike and a snowboard (at different times :D) both resulting in me injuring my shoulders. Now i'm injury free and hopeful of getting back to full fitness and strength.

If you do some work on your abs, your stomach will be fuller much quicker and should in theory reduce your hunger.

Does it help that you are in Romania, ie is there less temptations such as a Mc D's and kfc per square mile like we have in the UK?

Ha, I live right next door to mcdonalds. On the map, it's the car park. I was hungover saturday afternoon after getting in at 9am, so when getting up at 5pm had two mcflurries and a bottle of coke. It's my cure, either that or milk.

    http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&h...,26.13729&spn=0.001778,0.003616&t=k&z=18&om=1

It's the weather that's helping here and going out more often, clubbing more, I've had quite a few mcdonalds since I've been here, quite a bit of beer and six bottles of wine with a bit of cheese but just keeping going out and the weather is helping mantain a balance, I may join a gym this week as well.

It's just eating the right foods, the uk government are just a little silly in the way they present the eating five fruit and veg a day but they're right, a salad and fruit with your breakfast, then nibble strawberries or pineapple through the day, job done, cut out the rubbish, go see your doctor ask if it's alright to do it the Lee way, and walk three miles in the morning a few times a week and see how it goes. I haven't exercised since I moved here but ten hours clubbing seems to do the trick every other week and 90F heat in the day and 75F at night.

If you do it how I have, when you go to the super market you'll find if they shut down three ailses, frozen, biscuits, cakes and a few others, that you wouldn't miss them, yes treat yourself, I do. This week's treat is a tub of hazlenut cocoa and white chocolate spread that I spoon eat - yummy, I couldn't resist it. I just do everything in moderation now and keep a balance. And it ain tjust mcdonalds, they have places that serve pasta as well, so I have a bit of ready made stuff like that as well.

I aint finished yet, I've still got a belly but that will be gone by the middle of summer, I hope, I'm told it's the last thing to go and it will I'm sure.

    i watch what i eat & train 3 times a week.
i've never been out of shape in my life, but i do like to go on the piss, regularly
if you miss training & get to my ripe old age, it's lovehandles & bellies for you!
it's nothing the the treadmill can't sort. just cut out most of your fat too

Of course they're hot, we all are, it's 75F outside and it's 10pm at night. Humidity is high though which I think is good, someone define humidity...
