I sent a recorded letter today to Abbey, asking for £1500 + interest, so we'll see what happens - worth a bash as it costs very little to try.

People may well have signed up to charges 15 years ago when it was £3 and I was 15 years old. They certainly didn't sign up to £30 three times a month and it coming off immediately.

Just take all the money out of your account and try it. What are they going to do then? Close the acccount? God forbid...

Banks are like vultures circling on their customer to sell them unecessary Payment Proctection Insurance, expensive mortages and bullying customers into converting overdrafts into personal loans or secured loans etc. - any of this ring true ? never mind the bank charges.

If you owe them money then unfortunately you get taken to the cleaners as they have you ....

I will stop having a beef now, but best of luck - expect however once you reclaim your charges to be politely asked to leave - always difficult if you are overdrawn - so plan accordingly.

Best Regards
