transfer without authority

I have just noticed that one of the domains I look after has been transferred into ownershup of another party without any sale or forms having even been discussed. How/Is this possible, and how ?. Maybe some glitch in the system ?.

Also, clarify whether this is an ICANN-type domain (.com, etc.) or a .uk one.

I don't think you'll find that phrase in the OED.

I was seeking clarification on your vague statement of 'looking after' a domain. Can you comment on what actually happened, or is it all a big mystery?
