Plasma TV

Ive been give a voucher to pick up one of these Plasmas

For �500 but it runs out on the 30th.

Is it worth it? Can I get something better for money?

I would recommend the 40" Samsung LCD - is it a �500 voucher or just specifically for that model.

I wouldnt go plasma they go fooked after a bit as they are filled with gases... for for LCD

I always wanted LCD but at �500, if it breaks in a couple of years I can always go get another one.

It is worth it if it is just for a couple of years, and Philips are a good make when it comes to Plasmas.

Thats it then, I will go get it (from Makro) and pick up some cheap beer whilst im at it.

or you could get the plasma (bear in mind it is old 768 res) and put it straight on ebay (do not open it!) and get at least what you paid for it in hard cash, then buy a Samsumg / Sony 40/42 LCD 1080pi in the sales after xmas for about �600
