Next Series of Dragons Den!

Come on guys lets get our heads together and see if we can get on the next series of dragons Den, The invention or product does not need to work, we'll just say it's a prototype, so get out all those Hover Boards and lets apply.

So it's got to be something that's half serious so they don't think we are taking the pee, and yet bonkers enough to get us on the show.

I don't need them, I have had two enquiries into funding my ideas in the past twelve months already. I told them the truth, I'm having too much fun to grow right now and involve others and possibly muck them around, maybe next year, next year is nearly here though.

Lee, I think the people who haven't been turned down by the show in the last 4 years have made more money than those that they invested in, so don't blame you!

I was more thinking of winding them up and see if we can get on the show. Something so stupid that could not physically work yet could be taken seriously by them.

Something like a generator for the home that is powered by urine, "The EcoPee" I bet the silly researchers would invite you on the show, it would be fantastic just to get on the show and then abuse someone like Peter Jones and immediately rule him out as his you don't want him associated with your product after his recent TV Show. Just see how long it would be before they kick you off.

I'm up for it, but need to be careful what we discuss here as it'll all be indexed and researchers may suss us before we get anywhere near the show.

I like dragons den and haven't watched a lot of it this year, but those I have seen have been lacking good ideas.

A show I used to love was 'Trouble at the Top' - BBC
Anyone remember it? Documentary on turning around ailing companies. Just seemed to be more business to get your teeth into (sales, marketing, product design etc)

The BBC are selling series 1 for £625 - seems a bit steep!

About halfway through this one I decided to stop watching. It's gone down hill imho and found myself prefering to shoot terrorists (on cs source that is).

There was that guy who said he had the machine to poach eggs, he tried 6 and couldn't cook one, and they still invested.

Just need an idea that is half believable but won't no chance of working

No way, as in investor, the first question is "Have you tried it and does it work?"

No prototype - no money. That is how investment works. ideas are two a penny, its the team I invest in!

it was called the eggpod or something, it was on the series before this.

I couldn't believe it, the guy ran out of eggs and then at the end said, oooops I forgot to turn the thermostat up. They still invested, I sh#! you not.

I think Theo was a culprit on that one.
