New Forum help and members needed please!

Don't want to gate crash your forum Admin but.....

Domainers, for all you out there that have gone down the VoIP route and have been converted

this is for you.
I have just taking ownership of VoIPForum co uk setup phpBB on it and as always with forums is in need of end users to make them work and keep them going.

So if anyone could just pop along and post a few ideas questions etc that would be great!

Also new to all this forum stuff so any hints, tips, help and to point out problems you can see will be very welcome (ADMIN

might need tips on RSS news posts)

Depending on how fast it develops, might need a few mods

You might want to get rid of the sid and install an seo mod before you start setting up the forums to assist with your search engine rankings.

Thanks for the comment, I am new to running forums and I arn't going to pretend I do so any info is helpful thanks? Not sure where that is and not looked into SEO MODS or any mod for that matter.

Point me in the direction for anything helpful

BTW... Your forum has no forums on it right now (?) Mistake or do you have to signup to see?

Not sure where the tick box is to show forums to guests, but yes you have to sign up to see forums.

You wont get anyone signing up then.

Sorted it for guests they can view all forums. It was permissions for each forum under anonymous users.

Constructive comments not obvious ones please firestars

I have actually now deleted phpBB and have opted for Vbulletin as advised by a few people.

Looks and feels a lot better, so glad I made the change now before posts were made and people had signed up.

What do you thinks?
