Interested to know this as well - got a bold arriving tomorrow , decided on that over the storm due to the posts / problems aired in the vodafone forums.

Can still change to a storm if it is sorted - however one big downer for me is lack of wifi on it

the new software update has sorted the storm out, no more lags etc.
that was the only problem i had is the no wi-fi but then again its free to use the internet and email any way so i guessed its not that much of a problem.
should be through my door tuesday morning so will keep you posted.

the bold is no doubt a cracking phone, but god its big

I would go with the bold.

I had so many problems with my storm that I decided to go back to the pearl.

Its great as a show off phone but for everyday use its a nightmare

I can recommend the Bold, had mine a couple of months now.

Storm looks pretty but you can't beat a decent keyboard.

I'm sat in a korean hairdressers after getting a dodguy haircut (don't ask) using my bold. I love it. Like the idea of the storm but tried it and I think it has a love it or hate it keyboard. You should try it before you buy it. My fave keyboard on any phone was ny old nokia communocator 9500 - so the size of the bold is small to me. Keyboard's still pretty good though.

I love the Bold as well. Mine needs me to firmware upgrade it as it's an early one and so unfortunately crashes, but I intend to get around to it this week. Prior to it I had a Nokia Communicator 9500 but I found that got incredibly slow and the BlackBerry Connect software is a poor relation to a true BlackBerry. I've also had a Curve and a 8700. I wouldn't have anything else but a BlackBerry because I find them incredibly reliable on the most part and the push email solution works, despite it costing more than the Microsoft equivalent. I always use my BlackBerry with a BES (enterprise) server rather than just with BIS because I demand two way email sync plus calendar and contact sync. This costs more than BIS solutions but it doesn't have to cost fantastically more if you know what to do to cut costs. I once thought Nokia were the best manufacturer of phones but what with so many buggy N95 firmwares, and a slow 9500, I won't buy from them unless RIM screw up the BlackBerry.

My Bold replaced an N93 - Another phone I really liked but some issues with the firmware.

I think it's funny how many typos there are in my last post from typing on my BB - I count at least 3!

been playing around with the storm all day yesterday, and its bloody brilliant.
will take a few days to get used to it, the way the screen works is great.
definatley better than the iphone in my opinion.
it does lag at times when loading or flicking through pics, but software updates will sort that out.
i can see problems though if you have long nails like my wife, not so easy to click the screen.
