How do I delete domains from 123reg?

hi guys,

i've a few expired domains still in my control panel on 123reg and i want to remove them (some have been re-regged by other people). i don't know if i'm being a bit stupid but i can't see where i can remove them from my control panel!? (ideally multiple at a time).

any help appreciated!

You can't delete the manually. Just submit a support ticket and they will do it for you.

if they have been re-regged by other people cant you just change the tag in your control panel to the new owners tag? thats done the trick for me in the past!

It's a right pain that 123-reg don't check for TAG changes - Even if you've directly changed the tag in their control panel to another registrar they still leave the domain in your account.

I've had problems with transfer names on my tag. If the previous owner of the domain had it with 123-reg and the new owner wishes to transfer it to 123-reg they have to phone up and get them to manually verify it. Anyone tried phoning them before? The cost of the call is more than the registration fee by the time you speak to someone.

I used to have similar problems with 123-reg and was a real pain to get sorted. I don't use 123 much these days but I did have a few in my account a week or two back that shouldn't be there so I raised a support ticket and expected to have to chase up over the next few weeks however they were all gone within the hour. Either I was lucky or their support has improved dramatically since my last experience.
