Unhappy Blackberry storm

thought i'd post my views on this if anyone thinking of getting one - along with a quick rant about it before I put it on ebay

i've never been so disappointed with a phone in my life. My own fault really should have doen bit more research before upgrading. But had an N95 and thought this must be the way to go. All I want to do is check emails and browse the odd website when needs must, but this phone is slower and worse than the N95.

-Slow at loading pages
-you need to have fingers the size of a 5 year old to be able to use touvh screen
-camera is total shite
-navigation layout is a joke
-touch screen is very frustrating for doing things quickly like texting and putting in urls
-I find the handset is difficult to use in one hand to text
-the whole thing is just such a clunky beast (god knows how people mange with an iphone)

anyone else had any experience of this phone?

what a mug - I feel completly swindled

i think its a cracking mobile...yes it takes a little time to get used to but once you do its quick and easy to use.
have you upgraded the software to the latest? it fixes alot of the bugs and speeds it up, also remove any programs you dont use, this helps speed things up a little.

its definatley a "marmite" mobile

No direct experience, but that's because of what I'd read on various US forums about it - junk.

I'm holding out for the Palm Pre.

I've got an iphone, which is great for checking emails, websites etc.

I've even sent a payment from paypal from it!

I manage my paypal account on the go with my Sony Ericsson K800i, and that cost me £60, I browse acorn on it, use sedo on it, its not great with javascript like the "Quick Links" menu on here as it reloads the whole page.

I seriously looked into the Storm as I need a bigger screen than my K800i. I have a P990i which the screen is a nice size but its almost a big a heap of shit as the p1i that I took back after 2 hours. It has 3 way rocker buttons, now I'm waiting on a Sony Ericsson X1
