I didn’t know him personally, but the comments on here confirm that he was genuine and will be missed. It is always difficult losing a loved one and my thoughts go out to his family.

Just saw this on Twitter. Terribly sad news. Condolences to his family. I look forward to participating in any initiative suggested by Rob or Graeme. RIP fella.

I am in shock... Such sad news... Only a few days ago I was chatting with Khalid on Twitter... We would frequently send messages to each other and he was always extremly positive, lively and thoughtful. My thoughts go to his family...

I'm shocked and saddened too, especially after he came back here recently and I was happy to see him back.

My thoughts go out to his family and indeed we should see if we can assist them in some way.

Very sad news, again i'm another member who didn't know him to well but i have had dialougue with him in the past and sure he give me some good advice in the past.

I feel so sorry for his baby

It is a cruel world when nice people die early

Just a thought but hope there is someone to look after his domains, would be ashame to see them drop when his wife could raise some cash from them to cover expenses.

R.I.P

Maybe those who know how to contact his family could suggest putting his names to auction, to raise cash ? It may well be a situation where his domains will gain value in the future but his family are likely to lose interest and just let them drop, where as his existing developed sites and domains could be sold to help with expenses.

The last funeral we had to pay for was close to 10,000 all in all, so hardly cheap!

I know its a shit time to talk about this, but I have been there and whilst the help maybe seen a little off once the dust settles it will be appreciated.
