Ohh it is definitely fun! We should all copy, paste and reply to that email, indicating a willingness to 'help out'. That's the way to deal with 'em

I'll have a go and post my response here...

Dear Mrs Mohammed,

As a mid-management executive at a prominent UK bank -- 'Southern Rock' (but also subject to the rigours of regulation and close scrutiny), I must tell you that I am intrigued by the opportunity you are offering, and may be well-placed to assist you.

As a bank that is suffering from a serious inquisition by the authorities here, I too have 'no time to waste' and time is certainly 'of the essence' just at this moment.

To give you an idea of my credibility: I recently handled a similar project for the four-hundred and nineteen shareholders of the Inter-BS breakaway group in Lagos, who split from the mainstream Nigerian National Bank with nominal supervision of some $300,000,000 in controllable funds. Some 80% of this sum was diverted, with my assistance, to an account at The Royal Bank of Masonic Handshakers in Pall Mall, London.

On the basis of a 'nod and a wink', we successfully received 98.7% of those funds -- the difference was absorbed by capital gains tax, and a small 'backhander' to a great friend of mine who will will call "Mandy" who was at that time, in urgent need of a mortgage 'top-up' for the 'Gaslight and Coke Company' -- a very litigious and impatient lender against property assets.

After serious agonising with your proposal, I really must ask for a 50% share of the spoils if you do decide to work with me, and on the basis that we suffer no VAT liability. I am sure you understand that this is at 15% currently in the UK, and has to be accounted for.

Please let me know whether this proposal is negotiable/acceptable -- I am willing to buy a ticket to Benin (WTFIT) tomorrow to discuss things further on a 'one on one' basis.

Please let me know your schedule.

'En passant', I thought MJ was the 'King of Pop' and not "hip hop". But I am an old man and have never heard of MJ.

Best regards, and in complete confidence.

Dale

Can you not just ask for a cheque?

Okay it's going to incur tax, but if it was me, I'd be willing to pay that out of my 40% of the $25m.

@ Dale, try not to write long emails in reply to their first couple of emails, 99% of scammers work to a strict script and just paste the next email reply in their scam script to you without reading your email, a simple, "I'm interested, tell me more about it" is good enough for the first email, because at this point in time, you are dealing with throwers and catchers, they are the low level scammers who do the foot w for their oga's, after a couple of your replies have started to be read, they will move you up to another higher level scammers who play the parts of the lawyers, diplomats, security company official etc.

As an example, I sometimes reply saying that I am a snowman with a carrot for a nose, please reply quickly before I melt, you can tell their next reply is from their script because any sane person reading that wouldn't reply You do get the odd lad who will read your first email, but very few actually do.

Dear Father O'H@nl0n,

Thank you very much for your quick respond,I acknowledge your e-mail concerning the transfer of the money to your account in your country but I want you to know that we both need sincerity and truth among ourselves because the transfer will be less than five working days which means that you will recieve the money sum of $25,300,000.00usdollars latest on friday in your country.

The king of pop deposited alot of money in our country during his last visit to Ivory Coast in West Africa 1992 for the motherless and underpriveledge people but since that year, they have been using the money not untill 2003 the balance was transfer to the treasury account. He was Crowned King in COTE D'IVOIRE (IVORY COAST) Africa :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86ZpvvWCn-I or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otOAV1XvZOI

Now ,that the King of Pop Micheal Jackson gave up to death and the money is still in the Bank of Africa, me and my partner Mr.Adebayo S Abiodun transfer the money to his own branch office in Cotonou in Republic of Benin where he works presently now and now we have to urgently move the money out of his country within the next five day like I ealier stated and note that the percentage will be 30 % for you while 70 % before for me and my partner in Benin.

Therefore, I want you to forward to me the following information and filled in the attached application form with the required information and forward it to our bank e-mail for immediate transfer:- boa_benin1528@yahoo.com
Required Information:

NAME:
ADDRESS:
COUNTRY:
MARITAL STATUS:
PROFFESSION:
PRIVATE PHONE NUMBER:
PRIVATE E-MAIL ADDRESS:

I look forward to your prompt reply so that we can meet up with you in your home country by coming sunday.

Waiting to hear from you urhgently.

Yours Sincerely,
Mrs Aishat Mohammed.

NOTICE:PLEASE DONT LET OUR BANK KNOW THAT AM THE BRAIN BEHIND THIS TRANSACTION FOR THE SECURITY REASON AND FOR THE SAFETY OF THIS TRANSACTION.
There were two application form images attached to fill in, sometimes I just fill those in with my fake priest details just to get things going, but on the whole, you can sent it back by copying a DLL file and renaming it as .jpg so they can't open it, then slap them for not having the right operating system to open it, and tell them to fill the forum out for you at their end etc. Alternatively, I will email back and berate them for sending me images containing a virus and get them to waste more time sending them again, and again
