I would say now was a great time to be buying domains, it's classic contrarian investing. Personally though, my focus is on developing the ones I have before I buy many more.

Can't say i've seen many bargains lately. I'm looking to buy decent generics but those i've contacted are sticking to silly prices imho.

It seems really quite on the traffic front. Where did all the punters go.

I'm having hundreds of articles written and new front ends to actually publish decent content...looking at my exit strategy. I now have socialnetwork.co.uk migrated to a decent WP system with new content about to be added.

Best to sit and wait for people with the to come back into the game, rather than sell at the bottom.

If you can do that, then it's the obvious way to go at the moment, but some of us need to balance the books!!

Well sure...its all about consolidating and making the most from your asset, but selling at depressed prices unless you have to is not a great idea.

Very true, but with child number 3 due in 2 weeks time, I could do with getting through a couple of month's worth of sales in the next couple of weeks! Having said that, there are a number of domains that I've not discounted at all.

I'm getting more collateral together and really just making the most of cheaper labour, article writers etc who can add value to my business such hat when the turnaround comes around I can power out of the "U" bend and achieve higher prices than I could of before. In a way its a blessing as I am forced to develop what I have rather than rest on my laurels and rely on parking!
