I didn't see the point in it, still don't.

Not the hardest thing in the world to bypass. How long before call centre's work out just to say "My name is John".

Unfortunately the more it becomes popular in the UK the more call centre's will know what it is and the less useful it will be.

Very strange product.

John? John who? Do I know you? Do I recognise your voice?

No? Goodnight. Zap.

I think its an ok product, not worth £100 though.

I think he said the company sold a 2 years ago for £67m.

I wonder if it was 123-reg, didn't they get bought up a couple of years ago?

Makes you wonder why he needs £100k , or is that the price of an advert / product placement on the BBC nowadays?

I would have said that most of them will use "withold number" or phone from abroad without a number, so it couldn't zap those in the future.

Basically there is nothing there that you can't do at the minute, hang up.
When it asks you who you are, I doubt there is any other smartware there apart from something basic that detects sound.

So even if it is an automated call, as long as the call keeps making a noise then that is what this machine will play to you.

So where the bit on dragons den might get "my name is John", you will probably get "windows at £50 off".

You'll still need to get up an answer the thing.

The thing is easily copyable and easy to write better software for it and it will be written into phone handset software within 6 months if it was any good.

I used to work for BT and this stuff was there in 1999
