Still trying to get it to talk to a Samba PDC, ran one of the beta's standalone for a while, it's Windows with a nerer skin, nothing to get excited about really.

it's better than vista. My new copy from MS just turned up so I need to install that over the RC version (if that's possible without a reformat!)

It's far more stable than Vista... Nothing amazingly new, but far more stable!

I' ve never had any problems with vista, perhaps i'm not trying hard enough but it all seemed ok to me.
My question would be does it come with webserver installed already i.e. is it geared up to run websites, IIS ASP2 etc?

Mine came as action pack DVDs, but no key. the sticker says I can install on any business machine with a full license for Vista or XP. (not for employee personal use, and only at primary business location) They sent the 32bit Professional and ultimate versions. I guess it picks up the key that's there, or asks for one? I won't get to install any time in the next week or so, so can't tell you what it'll do!!
