"Paedophile", which means "a lover of children", is just another word which has had its meaning subverted, like "gay".
I can accept that homosexual people deserved a nicer word than "queer" to describe themselves, but it upsets me that paederasts have been allowed to retain that formerly nice word "paedophile".
