Holiday Nightmare

I got back from a snowboarding trip to Italy on Sunday, was having a really nice time until my girlfriend took a fall on Thursday and dislocated both wrists, breaking both bones in both arms! She's got both arms in casts and can't do much for herself, except sit and watch tv. Going to be a rough couple of months and I don't think I'm going to get much work done freelancing or domaining

I'm supposed to be going skiing next week but today one of the kids that was coming has broke both his legs so it's all up in the air at the moment.

Hope your girlfriend makes a speedy recovery.

Cheers guys, the fracture clinic here cut a little plaster away from around her knuckles today so she's got a little more potential for doing things herself, will just have to see how it goes.

Need to put her to work for me at home if she's having two months off her proper work, might get her content writing via voice recognition stuff

Hope your missus gets better mate, what a fu**ker going away for a good time and that happens, buy her a Stephen Hawkings chair and get on with that fresh content assigment (£8 per 500 words)

Slippery stuff that snow, so is ice by the way, which is why I don't ski or ice skate, value my bones to much.

Hope she has a quick recovery, maybe she could watch the winter olympics....on second thoughts....maybe not.

Damn, sorry to hear about that. Not the ideal way to end a holiday by any means. I just got back from Italy too. Well a week or so ago. Lovely place.

Just to add to all this, I've been driving her car a bit to keep it alive and I got pulled over today, their computer flagged me up for not having insurance, we sorted that and then they did me for a tyre! Worst start to a year I've ever had.
