Sonic cat/pest repellants

Has anyone used with success sonic devices to repel cat / foxes from gardens?

Do they work, if so which model/make are you using?

Thanks

Fish

by what you're saying it sounds as if they tuned the frequency to annoy the neighbours - I thought humans weren't supposed to hear them.
But then again you are a boxerdog

The rats round here dont seem to be bothered by them come harvest. Only way to deal with them is poison in the right places, (proper) traps and the gun.

those were the days, 14 years old, a 4-10 and a jack russell working the farm buildings. You'd get banged up nowadays.

I had a scatter cat from maplin the cats moved out the way but but usually just side stepped it.

A roll of caps blue tacked to a brick and slammed into the ground works best.

I would borrow some dynamite from the neighbours but I like my house... and my knee caps.
