My advice would be don't register it, or anything else, at least not yet. I think a lot of domaining is about having the courage of your own convictions, and it doesn't sound like you're that sure of yourself at all given that this is £6 we're talking about - it's a bit like spending a week at a bar trying to decide which drink to buy. If you do own hundreds of names and have actually sold names for XXXX then you must know that no-one can advise you on whether to hand reg a name on the basis of knowing its length and exact match, it's just plain daft to even ask the question. premiumbondshaveiwon.co.uk - 90,000 UK exacts at £0.73 CPC is currently unregistered, why is that do you think? |

I have always followed my hunches, and generally wont hesitate to jump in. But I am not a developer, not even close, I can't code and no next to nothing about that side of the industry. My business is buy, flip. As I know nothing ragarding the value of .co.uk domains, and as I made a few errors whilst starting out in the .com business, I feel its prudent to ask for some advise before I make some bad judgements. I am trying to get a feel for the .co.uk market, as I know the .com inside out. |

The question was about PC related (I assume – components) domain. This is one of my “territories”, and this is where it is much more profitable to develop (then sell, if needed) than just to rely on the value the name only. Component niche is not saturated, if you are not getting into common components like SD Cards. Developing a PC component domain even with few thousands exacts is a good idea. P.S. Just regged gigabitrouter (dot) co (dot) uk, on about 3000 exacts and average unit price at around 100 quid - it is just asking to be developed. With basic affiliate site going up in less than a day – it is good investment.

After discussions with other members, ive not regged the domain, but ty for the concern anyways. I lern't more from them about the .co.uk market than anything posted in this thread, so it helped me make a considered decision. If your as good as you all say you are, you will understand why I 1) hesitated and 2) ultimately decided not to aquire it. The domain I had considered was computer/desktop/themes.co.uk |

If it was mobile or phone themes you would have been better off but desktop themes are almost a thing of the past these days.
