While browsing the ebay domain listings on DomainLore you usually get a few laughs but this one really cracked me up. Someone is selling:
ngster.co.uk

Only �4,995 what a bargain!

Someone was selling W*nker@hotmail.com or .co.uk on ebay.

Was quite a funny auction, went for a few quid. My mate registered a name along those lines once and was getting about 50 people adding him a day.

I caught (via caught) a few such domains like pricktease, aholic.co.uk and some others, and womanizer via Dale, such email addresses may monetise with gmail style adverts not to mention signature links in everyones email like msn do

Just makes you wonder what that auction would make if he started it at �30. I hear the sound of feverish typing and the grinding of the whois servers

There is a member on here, who has his name like d@vid.co.uk as his email, looks kinda cool

I can't remember who is is tho.

The guy who owns (I think) wordpress has a domain domain for his name Matt Mullenweg — aka Photo Matt — on WordPress, Web, Jazz, Life, and Photography, emails are coming into their own now

One of the easiest email addresses I use these days is <my name>@<my surname>.com

Few months ago I started to provide free community addresses (based on .me.uk � sounds good for email). Fully Hotmail compatible (messenger, etc.), goes via Windows Live but branded by my domain. Have quite a few people using them, but didn�t made a penny out of it. Indeed a community project.

You would need to host your own email software so you can add your own adverts, using everyone, gmail, msn etc means they make all the pennies and you don't.

Yeah, I know� I was planning to get few ad clicks from the signup / login page.

Anyway, it was planned as a community Project, so I am not complaining.
