Looks like a virus pretending to be an anti-virus program maybe

I've seen lots lately.

The nasme it shows at the top of the window, is that one you've installed?

I thought it was a fake one which I had before, whatever I pressed it started downloading so I grabbed the battery out of my laptop to kill it before it installed, I'm suppose to have AVG but this Avira one is on my laptop, not had the laptop for long and can't check with who I bought it off so I think I will just uninstall the Avira programme and then do a computer scan with my AVG.

Do a factory reset to clean it or format.

Don't risk it, you can press R on boot up a few times as you may have a boot sector with Windows restore on.

I've done 2 this month.
