Any pipex info - for BB
Now free to leave aol now....have been looking at pipex as my domains are with 123reg...pipex start looks ok at £14.99 plus pipex talk 3000 [50 hours] of 01 or 02 calls for only £4.99 extra....seems fair....anyone tried..also as I have moden 2 x £14.99 free.months.
Q. if anyone has it ,is 3000 minutes ,divided up per day...or use what you want each day.....tried their website for enquires...does not work proper.....? a bad omen?..........z |

I used to use pipex, and its fine until you want to talk to support - then its awful. One month I spent more on phone charges to Pipex then the monthly adsl charge was!
At the moment I'm using fast.co.uk who are most helpful. The one time I had to ring up support to change my CC details, the phone was answered in 2-3 rings. I've not had any reason to call them since, as I've had no noticeable downtime in over a year. I have a dedicated IP, and a web/mail/... server running from home with no problems  Jee |

Thanks for suggestions. contacted aol for MAC number,irish girl was nice, offered to reduce my 17.99 aol to 12.99 and offered aol talk for 7.99 with one month free,[my wife pays phone bills. only fair as I am on pc.] my wife noticed bit about free 24/7 phone calls.....so i'm still with aol.. and paying ..£18.98 for my trouble...z

we resell pipex.. dunno if they do it to home users, bu if you order a 512k
line, it bursts upto 2mb during the day,
