The Cameron Vetoe

What's the consensus on this one? I think in the long term it's bad for England.. His main concern was his fellow Tory buddies in "The City" He couldn't give a flying f@% about the stability of the Euro, or the best interests for the UK. His main concern is his buddies in the city, even the ones that refused to swallow at public school, they might learn to like it in time.
Who gave this slimy snivelling little prick any say in UK politics???? Well done, the UK is now more marginalised than Germany was in 1939

At least Adolf and Josef had the decency to have a tasher... could you imagine cameron with a tasher lol, stiff upper lip my arse... Never trust a man that doesn't drink and/or can't grow facial hair. Tashers are much cooler than democracy. Fuck human rights, facial hair wins

I say it's a job well done. I never wanted anything to do with the Euro anyway. Tear down that tunnel!

LOL - but I've NEVER heard a convincing argument why England, or the UK for that matter, should be involved with the Euro

It does sound like the UK would've been hit very hard by this new transaction tax, so on the face of it it wouldn't have been a great idea to blindly go along with these changes:

Don't envy his position. Billy no mates in front of the world. Tough call. Effectively the FTT was a tax squarely aimed at the city, hardly affecting the rest of the EU in the same capacity. I say well done Cameron!!

A brave but solitary decision which may prove to have a detrimental effect in the future, that said i am sure it was the right decision, it is this independence that makes Britain Great.

Europe are on the brink of a financial crisis and segregating us from Europe only safeguards Great Britain's economic future.

Lets see the euro countries get them selves out the shit first, we can join at any time, but then we we stand to gain more than we might lose.

Good decision.

Europe costs us money every year - what they were wanting is more from us...it's worse than Scotland for gods sake!!

As much as I have against the banking sector, it apparently pays 12% of our tax income - no other Eu country approaches that kind of figure, therefore we had far more to lose that they did.

As a Scot Fagend, I realise you're genetically coded to disagree with anything a Consevative says or does, but we have to play Europe on our terms, otherwise it's out with the lube and bend over.
