What EU countries do you market to?

Lets have a show of hands please... what other EU countries do you actively build sites and market to in their local language?

If you dont market to other countries, why not?? Is it language? Or beaurocratic bullshit?? Or is it because you just dont care about foreign markets?

Very true.

When you factor in the huge weight of English-speaking countries plus those in other countries who understand English well enough to make sense of a website (or failing that, use Google Translate), that's a massive market.

Thumbs up

Ireland is english, is it not?

I asked a similar question a while back and no-one answered that had first hand experience.
http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/search...e-engines.html

So i went out and built a very basic one pager in Spanish and French and buried them deep within the site.. Both have landed on page one on google .es and .fr. Both have brought enquiries and so far, one advance booking for next year. Site owner very happy.

Niether has had a negative (as far as I can see) on UK google ranking and so far, no-one has emailed in their own language (just as well!). All have emailed in english.

The site is in my sig.

google spain
google france
