What does everyone think about sopa here?

If the bill passes in america in the next couple of weeks or so it will pretty much destroy the internet & completely decimate seo in the US & effect the rest of the worlds internet...

if it passes in the US it will most likely make its way over here in time as most things do.

I hadn't heard of sopa before, just Googled it, looked at the first result and get this:

I can't really see what the problem is or how it will destroy the internet? All it's to do with is stopping online piracy, so they'll be going after sites that sell fake goods, so what's the problem with that?
