I was wondering how they right a ship like that when the company said it will be out of action for the rest of the year! I thought it'd just be written off - maybe not;

They'll probably just weld up the hole, pump out the water, change the ships name and hey presto - costa salvago. There's one that comes into rhodes harbour here called costa fortuna. I bet it does.

It will be a tricky one to recover due to its size.

I would guess they first try to get rid of all the fuel and oils in the ship to prevent it from leaking, do an inspection and try to patch it up where possible and then try to refloat it by pumping the water out of the ship.

Then it will take a few more months to do inspections, then about a year to do repairs and in 2014 she can be relaunched as the Costa Tuscania or something.

That's not the one with the swearing on, there is an unedited version knocking around with the Commander swearing and calling him a coward.

Standby for the Hitler in the bunker version as well, it's only a matter of time before that appears.
