I'm amazed that you only get a 30 month sentence for something as blatant and dangerous as that.

Sentences are pretty much a joke nowadays, especially for violent crimes and arson etc. Daily there are stories about people being kicked and punched to within an inch of their life, with the attacker getting 2 or 3 years in prison. And you can probably half that.
