.Tel Domains

For any newbies just to say you cannot park a .TEL domain, although you can list it for sale.

Check out this fun video:
The new way to communicate

Is anyone using their .TEL domain for their contact info? Or do you just stick with your prime domain and have a contacts page?

Website:

Contact information:
http://iseka.tel/
I think this is more a case of I've spent a tenner on the damn thing so I am going to use it

Bought mine - beasley.tel for pure vanity reasons.

That said; I still think that all these .biz/.mobi./.tel/.eu/.me extensions are a waste of time and will never really catch on. Yes; there have been some reasonable sales (reported) for one word generic domains from these extensions, but will they really be a viable investment over next 10 yrs? I very much doubt it, and will as even 3 letter .info names get dropped daily.

Thumbs up Lmao

Admin your right it is funny

M : As anyone ever told you your pretty ?
F : Oh thankyou
M : Are you single ?
F : yes why ?
M : Fancy swapping .tels ?
F : WTF

I did notice that on the window he wrote something about being bent.
Ben.t el

So their marketing ploy is if your shy and havn't got the balls to ask a bird for her number, wait till the last second and desperately try to slip her your .tel

I thought this extension was set up aimed at businesses ?

Hi

I had quite a few .tel domains pending ready for lauch on the 27th March.

Did not get my name as I wanted but a few other peoples name.

Also got a couple of places that are well known.

I like the idea and think that they may become a lot more popular then most people think.

As I mentioned in another post they are only peanuts to buy so im not to worried if nothing becomes of them as i will only have lost a £280.

You have speculate to accumulate as they say.

What are the .tel that you have all purchased ?

Regards

Gav

I was intrigued that the google map co-ords when using my postcode put me in the middle of a lake about 4 miles away from me when using the telnic thing but only anout 100 meters away using google so not sure if thats deliberate so you don't give your home adress away or what.

You can put affiliate codes on there, like Website (Cheap Hosting): AffLinkHere so maybe worth a little there
