Whypark Ads - Revenue Question

Hi

Just a quick question regarding my whypark account.

I have just under 40 domains parked with them in total.

I have had about 20 for around 8 months or so and recently added the rest a couple of days ago.

I have the acounts setup with there ads on but have not yet earnt a penny from them.

I contacted them regarding this and they advised me to add some custom pages so that it get picked up in the search engine easier.

I have since added a custom page to each of my parked domains ( Only 2 days ago ), so hopefully this will make a difference.

I have actually added a custom page to each one with my other domains for sale to hopefully attract more visits.

How much should a parked domain earn a month or does it all depend on the company and the domain name itself ?

Look forward to any comments

Thanks

Gav

I have a remaining 100 or so on name drive that earn combined about 20-40 a month tops.

I have found using affiliate links on single parked pages earns more

I think that if I do not earn nothing from the whypark ads in the next month now that I have it all setup properley with an extra page and recmmened keywords I think I will do the same.

Thanks Skinner

Hi

Thanks boxerdog

Yours look far better than mine.

Holiday Queen
Hotel Reviews
Date Direct

I decided to go with whypark ads. I have a google adsense account so maybe I should look at this instead.

I am joined to affiliate window so could use some of there links and widgets ect.

Are you ebay ones a widget or just html code.

PS I keep trying to thank people on here by clicking on the reputation button, but I don't think it is working

This forum as been so helpful to me and I really appreciate all your guys time and opinions.

Thanks so much

Gav

Hi Gav

Are your domains on Whypark getting many visits? ie. are you getting visits but not paying clicks... or are you not getting visits in the first place?

The good thing about WP is you can build links to your sites (unlike conventional parking programs) - have you tried that, to increase traffic?

You can also add Amazon affiliate widgets. I just put one up today on Today's Gold Rate. If you join Amazon's affiliate program they give you a step-by-step process to create a widget, then you get the HTML code to copy and paste into your WP layout.

Boxerdog, the eBay widget looks very useful, did you have to be a member of the Ebay Partner Network to create that, or is there another way?

Cheers, Jon

i have just checked and i have 86 unread wanted exchanges...not keeping on top of things that well.

Thanks for the info. I've been thinking about applying to EPN, but waiting till I have a really good developed site, as I hear they're very picky these days about applications

Cheers, Jon

Hi Joned

No they are not even getting many visits.

I must be honest until a couple of days ago I had not even bothered to do anything with them apart from just upload them on there.

I have only now got them working properley with keywords and added the same custom page to them all.

As I mentioned I am using there ads at the momment, but look as though I will need to add some of my affiliate sites.

The best ones are only getting around 2 visits each per day.

Thanks for your comments and I also like the look of your one.

Regards

Gav
