Has anyone ever sold a domain from this board?

I ask because in the last two years I have never even received an offer from this board.

You might be saying, "Maybe it's your names"? No. They have all sold on other boards. Infact every name I have ever listed here has sold somewhere else?

    Just curious?

Well I have bought several from this board, so someone is selling names.

Maybe it's your names, or maybe you are pitching your prices for the wrong type of buyer.

I only joined just over a month ago and have sold 4 domains already, with hopefully one or two more in the pipeline...

I think its a great forum, lots of good advice and quite a good mix of buyers and sellers .. !

Your answer is in the trader rating on members profile. Simple.

103 posts in 2 years and all of them have been selling domains. No other posts at all.

Plus, after looking through your last 20 odd posts, I cant find one name that I would reg if it was free. Sorry.

I am not saying these names are gems, but I have seen worse.

Here are the names I have listed here for sale. Pretty much all for dirt cheap or very low price.

    There may be more.?

    Hi there,

All you can do is to keep plugging away & congratulations for selling at other locations. :)

I note from the domains you've listed, none are *.uk names? That may be part of your problem?

This is acorndomains.co.uk - "Domain Name Forum to Buy, sell and talk about domains in the UK market".

I've sold a fair few names here and this is a fantastic forum for friendly help, advice, knowledge, insight and expertise.

I see Sedo has dropped the commission rate it charges for the lowest value sales. Does this mean the market might be slowing and needs an injection of impetus? Does it reflect the overall uncertainty about the future of the wider economy?

    go go foo

nope... just means the greedy inflated figure they were managing to extract from clueless users has finally gone down... :D:D might be the pressure from SAMSONITE INC for the increase in free suitcases they have had to give away to sedo>DF users

todalen... the guys & gals have a valid point, this IS a uk portal (mainly) and is known for selling UK names... get shot of all your tosh and buy a few .co.uk's at wholesale here (hint!) and then you will make some £'s profit! ;)
