Info here for those who are 123reg affiliates, and displaying the 123reg logo, (I only discovered by accident) as I was certainly not contacted and informed.... that the affiliate code has changed.

Instead of the part of code where it says affiliate.cgi, it now says affiliate2.cgi
I wonder if this is why I hadn't earnt any commissions lately?

You might want to check yours as well.

Just found they are paying £1 per domain regged if you affiliate with 123reg's program at tradedoubler.co.uk

Nice of them to let us know! I too wondered why my affiliate stats had not moved... From now on I won't be promoting 123 to anyone anymore anyway!

Since they dropped their commission for domains from about 50p down to 10p it's not really been worthwhile anyway. I'll look into the Tradedoubler thing...

It was a very crafty email back in August:

So you still get 10% on the old banners?

I don't see why you'd want to use 123-reg whilst at tradedoubler, 1and1's commission is £2 and Fast Internet's is £3!

One.com is also offering £10 per sale order, though I'm sure if people just order domains, then that can't be right!

    Thanks for the info.
I will look at Tradedoubler instead of registering with companies individually!

I haven't received any comission payments for a long time now, still have a few domains pointing to the program.
And when you click on 'View Affiliates Statistics' in the control panel it says they cannot be displayed as they are working on a new system - this has been like that for months!!!:(

Do any of the registrars pay out for referrals to existing members or all to new accounts only ?

Indeed, I raised this with Matt some time ago:
    http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/services-wanted/41303-123-reg-love-hate-apply-within.html

and he told me he would chase it.

You can contact him to get a current balance of your account, which reminds me I have some monies owing.
