Firstly thanks to all who have made their offers so far.

I am looking to secure offers over £5000, first bid should be £5000.

Current offer: £8500 - please make higher offer by reasonable margin.

Please make your bid in thread or by email / msn to domaini@hotmail.co.uk

I am hoping to conclude a sale by Friday.

    A few details if it helps any;

    Exact searches 40,500 // 33,100.
    Broad searches 550,000 // 450,000

    Thanks
    Lee

Yes sorry, thought it might be you when saw DSG, you've got time until late Thursday or Friday if the group is interested in making a new offer. In confidence or otherwise. Thanks for the interest.

    Thanks

Electrical retailers should be getting in line for a domain like this, with 'no limits' on what they'd offer. One day they'll wake up and realise they've missed the boat.

I've been emailing all day, only one I had trouble getting email for was Ikea. I'll do the phones tomorrow. Not sure why DSG chose to post here - I don't mind - I thought a Comet/Dixons affiliate manager would have found the post on a4u instead or replied to my email.

It's certainly been interesting following this. Been fun brokering it on the other forum.

Then again 'Claire' registered with the email address
    buyingnames@blueyonder.co.uk
Would anybody from DSG really post here?
If I was Lee I wouldn't take that offer at face value.

Why snap up the offer, when it's lower than the current bids? Those involved know I'll hopefully decide on Friday, meanwhile I'll entertain more offers and contact more businesses. Please talk in the other thread and not the sales thread.

John Jupp knows one bidder well, I know of the other throiugh selling before and have history of the other offers ranging from £800, £700, £1001, £1000, £250, £250 and £500, £3000 that came in, amongst others, £100 etc. I emailed DSG earlier, I'll try to find out if it's them, I suspect I will need proper email or phone contact if they're to push this offer higher, if as their offer had no impact on proceedings thus far, though it was welcome.

I agree If its really is dsg they like many corps tend to take there time in advertising, internet campaigns etc and usually most of them want to promote themselves as a brand e.g. Comet .Curry etc Or if its a that a brand that supplies goods to them they would approach you themselves ? Could be a lot of BSE... Hope you do sell it high end though?

It doesnt and hasn't had any impact on the sale of the domain or current offer thereof so I wouldn't worry.

To clarify I have many a time, but not on this one :)

I did however comment that as it was a 'time limited until 8pm tonight' etc I was wondering if Julian's missus had started in domains...!! ;)
