DNJournal.com have reported a bumper week of .co.uk sales including the following:

    A10 .co.uk $19950
    travelmatch .co.uk £11500
    fine .co.uk £10000
    croydon .co.uk £9000
    menstrainers .co.uk £6100
    filmmaker .co.uk $7250
    newportjobs .co.uk £3450
    clearspace .co.uk £3000
    futureelectronics .co.uk £2750
    drtv .co.uk £2580
    bruges .co.uk £2300
    quantra .co.uk £2250

and quite a few more under £2000
Good to see solid prices in the midst of a recession - just shows that the internet is one area that is still thriving and businesses need good .co.uk domain names.

Nice couple of sales there Lee

Can't see them on this weeks report - perhaps they are in previous reports and are now archived.

Absolutely agree, also there is a lot of educating to be done to business owners, start-ups etc regarding the value (both long and short term) of
good, business descriptive domains and how domain names should be decided upon, managed and promoted by themselves in order to gain and maintain a solid foothold in their space.

They wont list private sales unless you provide them with proof (either a bank statement or perhaps details of the Escrow log)

Therefore, no, they wont be on there.

Menstrainers went for a nice price for the seller.
Bruges could have gone for more.
    A10 ? i could understand A1, A2, A3, A4, or even A5 but A10

Lee : Brilliant price on Worky,co,uk > wouldn't of thought it would get that much.
    Congrats on that one.

Spil Games a10.com are trying to be a player on the online games market so to them opening up the co.uk market seems quite cheap

Only reg'd on 16th April 2009, and not a catch (123-reg)! Proves you can still pick up some valuable names for reg-fee, manually!
