Wow Grant, its only an idea for a start up and it might not even get off the ground looking to spend around a hundred quid!!

mygold xxxx for a name you picked up a couple of months ago for a fiver. Youre really out to do people a favour arent you

Can't quite decide if you're joking or having a go!

Firstly, you didn't state your budget in your original post, if you had I wouldn't have wasted my time.

mygold.co.uk was a catch, the reg date and price paid means nothing, it's a top quality domain taken in almost every other extension. Lee caught tangerine.co.uk 2 days ago, does the recent reg date and price paid make it not worth the 4 figure offers he's getting? A good domain is a good domain.

And no, I'm not out to do people favours, this is business!

To be fair, gold does always command a price. Even more so now it's being sold out of vending machines at a train station near you soon. I let one drop whilst out having fun, lost £10k there, if the associated extensions would have ever bought.

Just for future reference, saying something in a serious tone and then finishing it off with a smiley doesn't instantly make it look like a joke!

As for your valuation, I completely disagree - this is a 4 figure domain.

Are you considering general jewellery names or just scrap gold names?

If the former, then i have pelegrina // .co.uk - caught a couple of months ago, was previously a jewellery store and dmoz listed.

    Hi,
