Ive been working on a new project and wanted to make a name for it, However like usual its taken. So I looked up whois to see if there was an e mail , so I could contact the owner and wanted to ask them if they would sell but when I look it up there is no e mail. I don't wish to stalk anyone but is there a way i could find to get an e mail just to ask the owner?

    Thank you for your time

If this is a UK name, then they do not list email addresses in Whois, so no, unless you can trace the owner you'll have to write to them, and if the adress is withheld then it's safe to assume that they don't really want to be contacted.

Some domains register names through their own registrar, so it might be worth checking that, and obviously check the actual site you're interested in for contact details - Sedo etc hosted names let you contact the owner with an offer.

It can also be worth checking the site history / achieve - they may have had contact details there once, even if they don't now.
