I think you'd get a MUCH better response if you priced the domains (assuming, of course, that they're priced at a level people will buy them at).

I automatically ignore all unpriced threads unless it's a very specific domain I just HAVE to have, life's too short to go back and forth on speculative names...

Hi Edwin - that was the opriginal idea... but i have been so swamped with work in the last few weeks I simply have not had the time to price up.

Will leave up for a few days and then may have to spend the time pricing... :(

    Cheers

    I agree with Edwin.

I buy a lot of names on Acorn and other forums, but I almost never make offers if the names don't have an indication of price.

Part of expressing an interest in a good domain is related to it's price - there are loads of domains I'd like, so I focus on the ones where I can make an informed decision about what I think is good value (and everyone's perception of value is different).

    domains

I think when you throw a huge list of domains at the market you cheapen the domains. It's easy to do,and I can appreciate you are trying to raise some money, but it can be counter productive. Each name has an evolution in someone's mind and others don't immediately appreciate the value. I agree with Edwin that if you must market them in this way then perhaps better to price them.
Also you should consider that if someone spends the same time it takes to trawl the list- going through unregistered idea's- they can pick up a multitude of domains at reg fee prices.
