    Thanks Peacock ;-)

For clarification, this bid was placed at 03:49:21 via PM, so before my 4pm cut off point. I was out so couldn't update the thread.

Going to sell this one to the highest bidder at 3pm tomorrow (Tuesday 26th) - unless claimed at the BIN price.

5 minute extension rule applies for bids placed within the last five minutes of the auction. For example, if a bid is placed at 14:57, the auction will not end until 15:02. If a bid is then placed at 15:01, the auction will not end until 15:06 – and so on.

BIN may be removed at any stage during the auction.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Can you confirm the "exact" of 368,000? When I check it gives that amount but a global amount of 110,000

Can anyone confirm if this is the correct value?

Just shows how dodgy the Google tool is ...

I get 1,220,000 for UK and 550,000 for global :???:

They're the 'broad' results though, not exacts.

The local value refers to December while the Global value applies to the average of monthly searches performed over a recent 12-month period. So Global = DEC 08 - DEC 09 / 12.

Knitwear is primarily a UK term so most of those searches will originate from the UK.

Christmas, coupled with it being bloody cold obviously means results for Dec will be higher than usual months.

    Hope that clears things up.

I've checked on google adwords, and if I put a budget of £50.00 per day, It tells me 2 people might click on my ad. Doesn't seem right for such a popular phrase.

Also, ref the below, the trends seems really out of context to the rest of the year and similar phrases

Google Insights - Searches for keyword "knitwear" since 2004, spiking in winter each year, as you'd expect.

If any of the bidders would like to retract their bid, having read what they've read – I'm happy for them to do that. Please let me know as soon as you can though.

Do your research before placing a bid - make your own mind up.

Finally, I want to get back to the sale – this isn't an appraisal.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Auction ends in less than an hour, at *3pm today. Current high offer is still £1800.

Please place any last minute bids in this thread.

*5 minute extension rule applies for bids placed within the last five minutes of the auction. For example, if a bid is placed at 14:57:05, the auction will not end until 15:02:05. If a bid is then placed at 15:01:23, the auction will not end until 15:06:23 – and so on.

    Good Luck

Woops my clock was a bit out...

    Congrats to the buyer!

Interested in other product domains with high exacts.

    PM if you have any.

    Cheers,

    BEn.
