Hi, I have had the domain stimulation.co.uk and have not used it for the past 5 years.

I was only keeping it for sentimental reasons but was thinking about selling it on.

Does anyone have a realistic idea of what it would be worth and how to sell it?

    Any help would be great.

    Kind Regards,
    Martin

Update: Thank for looking at my post. After reading a few bits on here I have pointed the domain at SEDO as it seems to be the thing to do. Any comments on this or my previous post would be great.

There's an obvious appeal to the adult market, so it could be the case of playing a waiting game, or trying to market directly to them. That's not to say it culdn't have appeal outside of that arena. It's a nice name.

In addition to sedo, some people sell domains on domainlore.co.uk .

basically its worth something - to the right person £xxxx
prices are subjective so be flexible - if you have no plans for it then its a win win situation if you get a buyer
    :p

I agree. I'd say if you're interested in selling now, then £XXX, but if you're in no rush you may as well keep hold of it. Lots of names here, have a potential to be worth much more than their resale value (sales to other domain buyers). End user sales are the holy grail, but obviously don't come around anywhere near as often.

There is an adult company called E-Stim who spend alot of money on advertising. I won't see them in person til July 4th, but maybe worth talking to them. I'll try dig out the card for them :)

@CF, I considered it, but my investors figured the ROI would be 18 months which is too long a game to play.

Anyway E-Stim Systems LTD, the owners a pretty cool dude called Wayne Allen, their current website is http://www.e-stim.co.uk you can email wayne by putting his first name at his domain. Took me a while to locate his card and details, their electro machines rock!
