Not surprising with the keyword - wonder if this will start a spate of other .org sales

Makes perfect sense to market, who knows you may create the largest .org.uk sale by doing so....

    Regards,

Kieron I said the exact same thing this morning to myself about your domain :) there would never be a better time to market it than now for certain !

Why not just redirect poker.org.uk to partypoker.com affiliate same as poker.org is ... it will only take up to 5000 years for them to recoup $1mill ..

At least your lander is developed ...

Do you think a .org.uk would generate a tenth of the interest and value that the .org did?

Why dont you develop it, rank it then sell it with revenue? Yes you'd have to bin the cost of quite a few custom Mustangs on links but you know the right people ;)

However I'd like to see a record .org.uk sale too

I have heard from 2 reliable sources that the owner of loans / org / uk has turned down more than one £xxx, xxxx offers in the past and that was a couple of years ago also.

Considering the revenue involved in online poker, I think £100k+ is acheivable with this name in my honest opinion.

With front page ranking also, who knows that the name would sell for as would then be sold on a number of merits.

    Ok lets use another example

How many on here would be tempted to buy poker.org.uk for say £25k ? (reseller forum prices now) obviously if they had the money available

I got an offer of 4k on donate org uk

Declined that one as it was just after the earthquake and didn't really want to get involved in any cashing in on it, plus have plans later on.

Anyone know what the record is for a .org.uk?

I imagine poker will probably be as good as it gets, so hope it does well.

In an ideal world I would love to develop it but as you can see from the homepage I haven't had time to update it in 2 years.

Shame, because the domain has such massive seo benefits. TBH I'm half tempted to somehow find the time to develop it, get it earning £500k a year then sell it for 5 times that. Decisions, decisions.

Couldn't you outsource development Kieron, I would imagine it would be worth your while paying a bit of money to have this done if you are time poor.

Would seem the obvious solution for someone selling outsourcing services :D

The highest I'm aware of is £6,000. Both games.org.uk and onlinecasino.org.uk sold at that price.

However the really big sales will almost always be subject to NDAs so we'll probably never know the actual record.
