    Hi Doodlebug

We have not got any themed auctions planned.

We will have a .co auction at some point but there are no dates confirmed as yet.

The next premium auction is 16th September.

If anyone has any good generic/keyword names please email them to me joanna.birch@sedo.com

If you have any suggestions for a themed auction I can always put this forward to marketing.

    regards

    Joanna

i don't know who accepts/declines domains onto your premium auctions but they need educating...i was declined a premium auction birth for something that was a singular generic item,in a very popular and profitable niche with over 20k searches per month (local),i was declined with a £900 reserve and i sold it last week for ten times that number....What was labour's slogan...."education" , "education" , "education" ,sedo's lack of knowledge, lack of web design and apathy will drive it to extinction

good luck you have 1and1 to fall back on

It maybe that the reserve was to high even though it was an excellent name.

Low reserves are needed to stimulate bids in an auction. The reserve price is not the same as the value of the domain.

The domain was probably better suited to direct brokerage rather than trying to sell it in an auction.

We can only add what we think will sell.

Judging by the recent auctions, I'd say this was a good move, assuming you are being more vigilant. However, if this was the case, why not just suggest a 900 starting price?

as anybody else had this before:

i applied for a premium auction with a domain, and it was refused because the reserve was to high at say £900 and it stated £500 would be more appropriate,o.k you apply again the following month with a £500 reserve and it's still refused ?

    you have to love em'

anyone auctioning quality domains with sedo must be nuts
they want soppy reserves and the auctions are hidden, yeah right

no exposure on homepage and you have to drill down to market activity, more often than not the block of closing soon ones, is weeks out of date. we have mentioned this many times. up until a few days ago it was still showing domains weeks old

sedo is a reseller playground, more often than not you will get reseller prices
if you have top tier domains use top auctions like domainfest, traffic or private sale, brokering

sell avergae stuff on forums or good ones if you need cash quick

i made mistake couple of times of selling too low on sedo, and that was when there was more expoisure on homepage

    now? you gotta be kidding

    Hi Deliajen

I have investigated this and the domain in question was entered into the online retail auction in June. Unfortunately the domain did not sell. We therefore could not add it to the auction again for more than the highest bid as a reserve.

Please respond to my private email so I can help you further.

    regards

    Joanna

I cannot find any other names submitted recently in the system for you that have been rejected twice with the reserve you suggested. Please could you confirm which domain this was and I will happily look into this for you.
