We ended up with about 1/4 of the tickets we'd applied for. In the end, we got 2 sessions of women's freestyle wrestling and one of judo. Missed out on swimming, more judo, tennis and the opening ceremony.

How did you do? (if you were after tickets at all, that is!)

I don't think it would be boring in Bolton at 3.00am on a Sunday morning;) I'm waiting for topless darts to be recognised as an Olympic sport.

I made the mistake of applying for the most popular events and got nothing. In the second round, I decided to give it a miss, but I might go down and watch the marathon and soak up the atmosphere. In retrospect I think I should've applied for loads of tickets. You can always sell them back anyway.

My brother, 12, also has 1 100m Finals Ticket. He has been offered £600 for it already and turned it down.

    Tool.

the luck I had was not wasting my time or money on this BS

if you gave me free tickets, i would not attend

theres a handful of things prob worth seeing if inclined but then the crowds, wait, transport, weather, searches. and you got to pay
most people are going to say just to say, 'i was there' lol
    f*ck that

Only applied for opening and closing ceremonies as I wasn't too fussed about the others.

Didn't get any tickets for either. :)
