    Hi guys,

    It's the first time I'm selling a website, it's at auction and the reserve has been made, and not long left to go. My questions ;

    Since it's a wordpress website, does the new owner get the wordpress account for this particular website, or do they open a new one for themselves..

    I was also wondering what other details I should expect to give to the new owner. Sorry for my newbish questions but I guess if you have no experience then the only way is to ask..you're help will be much appreciated :)

    I do sell WP sites ;)

    What I usually do is:

    1. Set a separate cPanel hosting for the site
    2. Install Duplicator plugin on my WP
    3. Generate both WP (admin) and cPanel (user) passwords
    4. Give them to the buyer

    I also set the automated hosting deletion after 30 days of transaction so user can transfer everything without rushing.

    All my buyers so far are happy with the scheme ;)

    Good luck!
