    Welcome to AD. :)

8000?! Gosh, that's a lot, as per tradition would you like to list some of your best/worst?!

forgive me if I treat your post with a little sceptisism, but if you only paid £100 for each domain, that would be £800,000, that's a large portfolio sale and if you got them any cheaper then I wonder why you were buying them in the first place.

Did the clocks go back more than I thought? Is it April 1st again? The thought of somebody with no idea of the domain business buying 8,000 names off a 3rd party (even at £10 each that would be £80K) is so ludicrous that I call wind-up!

    Hi,
I bought it from a friend of mine who's broke, I paid him 12,500, and told him if i'll sell some of them for at least 10,000 I'll give him 5,000 more.

I tried to help a friend and both starting my own business

    Good Luck.

Like to share some of them? You might get some buyers here. :)

But that's a ludicrous situation because quality domains have a floor value and out of 8000 he would have no problem selling a few for £12500. If they are not quality domains then you would simply be buying a liability of £20000 annual renewals.

Are they all UK domains or a mixture of different extensions? :)
