    Make sure one of the inner but not yet dangerously close to the centre layers of the onionskin-like concentric shells around the dangerous "core" storage chamber shines very very brightly at UV, visible and IR frequencies by making use of the waste heat from atomic decomposition and/or stray neutrons, so if anyone excavates that far unknowingly in thousands of years the blinding glow will warn them off. That, and enclose it in so many layers of protective material (each with different physical characteristics) that it becomes quasi-impervious to any kind of drilling, no matter how sustained.
