I've heard about this a couple of years ago - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16801382

whats the deal - is it a parallel system or is it just a case of knowing certain sites?

I'm not after buying anthrax or an ak47 - just wondering how it runs; they'll need domain names...must be traceable?

these places aren't worth visiting imo, even for a nosey as 99% hardcore criminals dealing in worst stuff according to link
I can understand peer 2 peer sites for political ativists and journos in oppressed regimes but thats about it
the rest need to be stopped. they need to get a grip on this side and let real freedoms of speech on the main net

think from what can gather you download software to access but surely a footprint is left somewhere
as far as selling them domains lol, any od domain will do, think they go for crappy ones, and are not indexed anyway on search engines obviously

I wasn't thinking of them being a source of domain sales, just that they could be traceable.

I joined this ages ago just after it started - it was big on astalavista..

It's just basically an openvpn connection to a private network - I could set this up with a firewall and a DNS server - getting people to buy into it would be the only problem.

From article "You have the availability of multiple dealers so you can compare products - and customers can review the dealer's product, too."

    CompareTheBlackMarket.com ?
