    Hi Thomas,

There's been a couple of threads on this in the past, apple agency actually posted in the domain appraisals section asking for an appraisal a while back, then someone later created a thread saying it was now owned by apple.

Appleagency never did come back and post on either thread to actually say what happened, wether apple bought it from them, or they got it taken off them, I dont know.

    Heres the threads :

Oh right apologies for the double thread, yes I remember the appraisal thread, I thought it was strange that they opened one really. We'll probably never know what actually happened then.

Most of these magazines aren't accurate and just regurgitate other people's reported news. There is no need to take it off them when they didn't do anything wrong.

Why would they? Why would they give a fig? It was a waste of time them coming here in the first place which is what they must have realised from the first thread they started and didn't contribute to after, I think, two posts. The only possible benefit of them coming on here was if they deliberately wanted to make the fact that they were looking to sell common knowledge so someone came knocking. In their mind someone was probably only ever going to be Apple Computers, or maybe Apple Records.

If I were in that situation I would at least be contacting the sites that have covered it as 'news' and asking them to remove the implications that the domain was taken from me rather than sold. Doesn't really look professional for their business.

I can't see it being taken off them - too generic, plus was a proper business since the start of the net.

    Hope not anyway.

Cocktails and bellydancers all round I'd say.
