Don't see the value, I'm afraid...

What I posted in a blog post a while back applies here: "There are an estimated 1,000,000 words in the English language. But the fact that a domain name happens to incorporate one of them doesn’t magically give it value. Is there a commercial use for that word, that domain name? If not, its presence in some obscure corner of the dictionary won’t save it."

It's quite a nice/brandable one, but many might spell it wrong? :)

Does nothing for me, could I see a theater company or something along those lines liking it.. possibly.

    I don't think it's great, but I don't think it's terrible.

If it was FTR would I register it, probably not.

Maybe someone will want it eventually though and give you low xxx for it, but who knows if/when that will be.

It's one of those you might get lucky with if someone has a brand idea for it, but think it's too much of a mouthful.

    Rapture, yes. Rapturous, no.

Thanks for the feedback, to be honest I have done nothing with it since origionally registering it. My inital thoughts were to use it for a marketing/design brand, as yet I'm undecided.

I always ask my target audience to spell names to me, and as Systreg will attest joe public is pretty damned stupid without google autocorrect/suggest.

I don't think many would spell it right, which means it fails the radio test, I don't think I've ever heard anyone in the UK say rapturous, a few kinda wished the nominet board was raptured, but think it would work better on a global thing.

That said if you plan to brand it yourself, create an identity to go with it i.e. logo, letter head, slogan etc, you maybe in a better position to sell the idea. I've moved a few domains this way which alone are weak but when combined with an idea and artwork to support has been enough to encourage someone to take it.

Well said. But in my limited experience if your gonna spend all that time, effort and even money. Would it not be best to find a ftr more pronounceable alternative or pay £xx- low £x,xx for one.
