This would be perfect for my Jumbo Jam Juggling Jamboree!

But seriously, estimation tools are a bit of a joke around here, they just don't work.

Not saying the domain is worthless, just that the Nokta estimate is crazy and won't help you sell it, unless it's to someone who has no experience in domains - and this is a domainer forum.

    Good luck.

Thanks for all the comments in my sales thread. I think saying that its worthless isn't very constructive as a domain can be worth something to one person and not to another. Thank you for being involved in my thread though.

I thought that uploading the Nokta pdf would perhaps clarify things a bit on here but it has been met with some hostility. Obviously not meaning to offend people ha ha.

Normally such comments would be bad form on a sales thread, but I was trying to be constructive for you.

You won't find many valuable domains just laying around any more. And you won't get any dumb buyers on Acorn!

Spend a few days reading lots of historical posts on Acorn before you splash your cash and you'll come out the other side a much wiser domainer.

Saying the "domain is worthless" is not 'constructive'!

The estimation was a joke, so the thread is getting treated as a joke

Ok Well I am sorry for this. Obviously this wasn't my intention and in my opinion it was not constructive. However I understand that some people don't like a sales thread with an appraisal already put in which they do not value.

I just wanted to try sell the domain and I have dealt with domains for some time. I tend to go straight to end users but recently have been trying to see the market in forums like this. Hence my low post count.

I don't think it is a possibility on this domain or thread anymore due to the response. I read the rules and it stated to give as much information as possible I thought the appraisal was helping to do that and as far as I can tell many of the posters here have already broken the rules of the forum.

Why do people use automated valuation tools? They are ludicrous and ridiculous.

I think by quoting those numbers you lose all credibility as a seller and actually negatively effect sale price unless you can sell it to an idiot or someone just starting out.

Bit like the people who go on Dragons Den with sky high valuations of a company that has so far made zero sales :D

Don't listen to them - I got a domain valuation through domtastic.co.uk and it came out as £500+!!

Use your common sense. You cant just hand reg a domain then say its estimated at $15,876.

Do your research first and be realistic with your prices.
The biggest mistake you can do is quote from stupid valuation tools.

Apologies if you didn't find the feedback constructive; I could have phrased it better for sure.

There was genuinely no bad intent, but that domain would not sell in a million years on Acorn - appraisal or not.
