I received a reminder from 123 to renew my domains powerhelpline com and co.uk but when I logged into my account they weren't there. I can log into nominet and they're there with all my details but 123 say they are in someone else's 123 account not linked in anyway to me.

They have written to the account holder to try and resolve but no response yet.

Anyone know how I can sort this and how it could have happened.

123 reminder went to my normal account email and pretty sure I registered domains from new with 123

As mentioned above change your tag and move registrars, Normally Namecheap are super fast . You basically change the TAG for £12 in Nominet to ENOM , then purchase a transfer at namecheap for £6 or what ever it is and within a day or so ( Normally less ) the domain is in your account.

You'll have an issue with the .com though as you'll need a transfer code, I would assume since you got the renewal emails its still your email on the whois though.

The only way this could have happened is 123 have completely messed up or someone pushed the domains to someone elses account in my opinion.

It will be the same as heart internet... If there is a domain reference in anyone elses account from any time in the past and you transfer that domain in to them, it goes to their account! BOLLOCKS really!

I've had the very same thing happen to me yesterday. A bit odd but it'll get sorted.

Sorted by 123-REG on Sunday across the bank holiday, so far play to them, they didn't let it drag on.
