    Is Sedo shut?
Reason i ask is since Brad went back to US a week ago. Literally heard nothing from any brokers.
Due to the fire in Boston building, that end is still in chaos.
No answer from Germany An unpaid domain from 2 weeks ago & although i have emailed broker 6/ times only had 1 auto email.
I have also bought one & if lucky get 1 email a week back.
Have they just shut for 2 weeks now?
IF anyone from sedo is still there, what are your official days that you are shut?
Also i know it's Christmas but you guys get more unprofessional, i think we're all losing patience with you.

You've given the game away Alien! LOL
I thought i had her all to myself. LOL
Without her & Brad, the place would fall apart.
    TBH the others aren't worth a wa*k
Maybe we should print our own version of the new years honours lists of sedo brokers that are truly AWFUL? For the crack.
    I'll start ....... e. dover
Anyone 'had' her ? Not good.

we really should form some sort of cooperative.
it suits me to use sedo at mo. they are a pain though.
it's a question of when not if i f*ck them off out of it.
slowly moving more over to namedrive etc
if they continue i will have to use afternic etc as well
don't know what their problem is

They were on here earlier, after this thread has been started - a reply would have been nice! I am 100% removing all my domains once my 3 month+ epic sale finally ends, and I will never use them for a domain sale again.

Its not all down to sedo, the buyer is a complete f*ckwit - however I put a lot of the blame on sedo for being so slack at chasing the payment in the early stages.

<update> It now looks like the forms have gone missing enroute to nominet from the buyer AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH............

Ask sedo if they would accept the name.

Transfer the name to sedo and collect the money, it is then their problem.

It has happened in the past when sedo have collected the cash but the buyer goes AWOL.

Didn't realise that was possible Rob, def. a tempting option as I'm tearing my hair out trying to complete this deal. Doesnt help when the buyer is outside the UK, they are in turn handling the purchase for a client who is in the middle of moving to London?!? Then in the middle of it all is my Sedo sales agent who takes 3 days to write a 10 word email reply..............

I'm in the same boat too.

Waited 12 days for email to confirm receipt of fax despite numerous requests and only then after Brad on here intervened.

Then emailed on 13th of December re buyer receiving transfer papers - still no reply except one autoreply in German only and then another in German and English to a follow up email. :(

I can understand it taking a while to get a reply from say info@sedo.co.uk on a general query, but not when emailing an assigned individual. At £70 a pop for UK domain names they either need more staff or better staff dealing with transfers. The fire in the USA may have had an effect, but this communications problem is nothing new.

I'm considering moving all my domains - it's easier selling them myself. I have started and completed around five deals - both buying and selling - since this one sedo sale started.

    Anyone out there sedo?

They need to work weekends (and holidays). I think charging £70, brits expect that. You know shops close on Saturdays and Sundays in Germany! I don't think I could live there.. when are you meant to do your shopping?
