Aint it, a shame most people give up, can't be bothered, don't understand they're in negotiation, aint passionate enough about their bid and can barter etc. Britain was born on a bed of bartering, it's the foundation of a country

"how much do you want for York mate?"
    "your head on a plate"
    "ah hmmm ok"
    "will me arm do?"
    "go on then"

It is a shame though, you get an enquiry or on offer and it starts getting like sedo on here, when offered the possiblity of a conversation and real bartering, like sedo can never and will never provide, people don't take the opportunity. You put prices you hope people will go for but they don't look any deeper just sniff and walk away, all a big shame really.

Yes, alright do you think we could all leave the personal remarks alone and stick to the topic, in general negotiation doesn't happen enough on here. I wish I ****** hadnt bothered.

The art of negotiation is far from dead. It's all part and parcel of the game. I negotiate on almost everything I buy for my business, not only does it make good business sense but it makes it fun to do.

But Olebean is right, you post that you are desperate for the rent and that immediately weakens your bargaining position. Not an attack on you Lee, just an observation and one that might help you in the future.
